2016.05-Drinking Like a Christian

Beer 2

Here is a podcast follow up my blog post about drinking alcohol. There is one main theme: Christians who drink don’t make too big a deal about it.

I am still working on the sound quality. The podcast was loud enough, but there was too much echo. Enjoy!

2016.04-Trivializing Racism

The sound quality is not very good on this and the previous podcast. It sounded good in my earphones while I recorded, but then it turned out too low. I found the problem and hopefully it will be fixed on upcoming podcasts.

In case you missed it, The Gap, got embroiled in a controversy earlier this week. What happened? They have a new clothing line coming out from Ellen DeGeneres. To promote this new clothing line they put in the picture below. This picture was immediately deemed racist. I discuss how this response trivializes real racism in my latest podcast.

2016.03-A Line in the Sand

Microphone 1

In this podcast I discuss the laws being passed in states such as North Carolina and Mississippi that are trying to hold back the homosexual agenda. What can we learn from the responses to these laws by the media and by corporations?

2016.02-Unchanging Witness Review

In this podcast I review an excellent new academic book refuting the gay-Christian movement. It is called Unchanging Witness: The Consistent Christian Teaching on Homosexuality in Scripture and TraditionI would highly recommend the book for any pastor or teacher who deals with professing Christians who believe that homosexual practice is fine for Christians.

Podcast-Why, What, and Where

Blue Yet

Here is my first podcast. It is a trial run so the subject matter is relatively tame. I talk about why my blog and podcast are called Singing and Slaying, what I hope to accomplish with the podcast, and where I come from.
